OUR TEAMS
THERE'S A PLACE FOR EVERYONE AT AMA
AMA's Marketing Team promotes the AMA brand around campus and across a variety of digital platforms. While working in a highly collaborative setting, Marketing Team members will have the opportunity to hone their social media marketing, graphic design, and web development skills as well as partnering with advertising and marketing agencies to gain hands-on training. The Marketing team works closely with the Consulting Team to elevate Los Angeles-based brands through thoughtful strategy.
The AMA Consulting team works directly with clients in the process of deriving effective and applicable marketing strategies. With the AMA consulting team, members will develop important critical thinking and information synthesis skills related to the field of marketing, as well as experience working in a group environment.
In AMA's Case Competitions team, small groups are given hypothetical and real life business scenarios; once understanding the inherent issues from specific cases, teams work to conduct extensive market analysis to drive tangible recommendations. Teams then create in-depth pitch decks to compete in national and international competitions. Throughout the process, members foster stronger research, communication, presentation, and marketing skills.
General members participate in a weekly assembly of all AMA members where they partake in marketing and consulting development workshops, speaker events, and social activities! General Members may attend Consulting, Marketing, and Case Competitions meetings to gain insights into the professional work each team has undertaken.
